Rei Kawakubo took a monochrome approach on the vintage shoe originally released in 1997 with the Comme des Garçons Homme Plus x Nike Air Foamposite One 'Black.' It premiered in Tokyo at the CDG Homme Plus Fall/Winter 2021 runway show and features a blacked-out synthetic upper covered in wavy circular patterns. Branding elements include an embroidered mini-Swoosh on the lateral forefoot and ‘Comme des Garçons Homme Plus’ inscribed on the heel tab. The outsole features Penny Hardaway's 1 Cent logo on the herringbone-traction rubber outsole.
